Steps of Cooking:
1)Strain chick peas and boil with 5-6 glasses of water, cook on low heat for 2-3 hours.
2)Heat oil /ghee /butter, fry onion till it turns light golden. Takeout 1 table spoon fried onion and 1 table spoon oil and keep aside.
3)In the remaining oil and onion, add garlic paste and fry for a minute. Add Mehran Chana Masala, mix well. Then add the boiled chana and cook on low heat for 40 minutes or until it becomes tender.
4)Now add the onion and oil, stir chana until gravy becomes thick and then remove.
Garnish with green coriander, green chili and lemon juice. Serve with Nan, Puri and Paratha. Serve for 5-6 persons.4 hours.
