Steps of Cooking:
1) In 1-2 glasses of water add meat, ginger and garlic paste, 1 peeled whole onion and Mehran Pulao Biryani Masala (For Beef/Mutton add 3- 4 glasses of water). Cover and cook on low heat until meat becomes tender, when 1 cup of stock remains, discard onio
2) Add yogurt and ginger julienne, cover and cook for 3-4 minutes and keep aside. In another pan heat oil/ ghee, fry remaining onion till it turns golden.
3) In a separate pan add 9-10 glasses of water and 1 1/2 – 2 table spoon salt and boil. Then add soaked Mehran Basmati Rice, when rice is cooked more than half remove from heat and strain. Add milk in rice and mix well.
4) Now spread prepared masala on rice in two layers. On top sprinkle color and fried onion with oil, cover and cook on low heat. When rice is done, mix well and serve.
Serve with Raita and Fresh salad, Serve for 5 – 6 persons.
